I happened to come across Paul through Zillow. He was very knowledgable and had a great plan for how to,sell our home. He actually helped us receive several offers on our home in just two days. With all the tools out there like Zillow there is little that an agent can provide regarding homes on the market. He was good about helping us see several homes. He helped us craft an offer that met our needs and would get the attention of the buyer. It paid off and we got the house we wanted. He worked with the sellers agent to make it happen. After the initial acceptance of the offer things could have been a little smoother. I would recommend finding your own inspectors (home, pest) as we have found inspectors suggested by Paul missed or incorrectly reported. That is not his fault. One thing that frustrated me at the end was once we were getting close to finishing things communication seemed to slow. I felt like I had to contact him for information. Trying to coordinate a move was difficult as we could not pin down a date. This was frustrating. Overall I think Paul did a good job and was very professional and knowledgable about the Elk Grove market. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again but I would set clear expectations for how I wanted things to close.

There were many issues with getting our loan which took 10 weeks to complete which had nothing to do with the Agent, however, in the end we were able to get our house and the Agent Paul Gallegos was very helpful in doing that.

This is regarding my experience with Paul and getting my first investment property purchase in Sacramento. Search phase: I live and work in the Bay Area so finding time during the week to go to Sacramento and look at properties was a very hard task to do. Paul scheduled appointments with me on the weekends making the search process much easier. Not just that, for any property that I wanted to look at Paul will schedule the time with the sellers and will go with me and spend the time looking at the property and give his professional input and recommendations. All other agents that I met with and talked to before knowing Paul refused to provide such service. Questions and concerns: Being my first purchase, I had so many concerns and questions. Paul was very professional addressing all of them and most important he was honest and straight forward setting my expectations. Finding and purchasing a property: After looking at different properties, we found a short sale one which I liked and wanted to move forward with. Paul immediately prepared all the paper work, contacted the seller agent, and submitted my offer. With Paul's skills and perfect timing, my offer was accepted. Communication, communication, communication: Buyer-agent communication was extremely satisfactory. Paul was available almost anytime, even after hours. With almost an immediate text message response or a phone call. He answered every single question I had; The ones that required more info and research, Paul will acknowledge them and will get back to me later with the answer. The short sale process took months but during that time Paul was sending me regular updates through out every step of the process. Even when there were no process updates, Paul will just send a message saying there are no new updates yet to keep the communication going. Dealing with any possible setback: Paul worked hard on making sure that the house is empty and ready before closing so there won't be any possible delays to the process. Support: Paul won't leave you without any support after you get your property. After I got the property I needed good professional resources to works on paint, carpet cleaning,..etc. Paul pointed out and provided professional resources. He contacted and scheduled resources to appear at the property based on my availability. Paul was there as well giving his professional advice. He showed care in putting my investment on the right track. As an investor, I was very impressed with Paul's expertise in his profession...from the smallest details to the biggest details..He called the 3 week date and it was funded 2 days before!! I will use him again and again with all my properties!

I would start by saying that the reason we went with Paul is because the firm he works for was the first to return our call out of several local firms. That being said, we lucked out by getting him. I cannot speak for every location, but I would confidently say that he knows Elk Grove expertly. While we were searching for homes he would often arrange viewings with only 8 hours of notice. Within a month of starting the search (in a hot market) he helped my wife and I get in contract on a short sale and helped us keep the contract even after the nightmare scenario of the original bank selling the loan mere days before a scheduled closing. Paul Gallegos was recommended to my wife and I through a friend after a not so good experience with another real estate agent with a well known firm in our area. We liked Paul from our first meeting and decided to list our home with him. After Paul completed his research we agreed on a selling price, which was much higher than the other firm recommended I might add. I was in the middle of a few repairs on the house and did not want to list it until it was completed. Paul recommended that we put signs up stating " COMING SOON" as a strategy to generate interest, he also said this is not the recommendation in all cases but thought it would work well in our situation. Well let me tell you it did!!! After the repairs were completed approx. two weeks, Paul listed the house on the Multiple listing and set up an open house for that coming Saturday.
